I was born and grew up in Athens of Greece. From a little girl I was highly creative and loved drawing and creating new objects. It was my dream to become an architect or designer and to do my studies in the UK. I followed my sister's steps and here I am.

I studied Interior Architecture in the University of Bedfordshire and I did my masters in Architectural Conservation at the Edinburgh College of Art. I worked in architectural practices and I did several placement in different organisations to get experience in creative design and materials . My design projects were mainly office and domestic building refurbishments, facade retention and bespoke furniture design. Few years later, I did a PhD in Environmental Management of sustainable and conventional office buildings followed by  postdoctoral research in Low Carbon Communities at Oxford Brookes University and in the Expereincial Engineering and Sustainability at WMG-University of Wrawick. The research projects I lead were mainly  funded by EPSRC and Innovate UK and involved smart heating monitoring, energy behaviour change, co-design and prototyping of solar trees, co-design and prototyping of bespoke healthcare digital technology, participatory interior design referbishments of healthcare interiors,  co-design and develpoment of  smart textile design concepts for managing and treating chronic diseases. From my PhD until present I have supervised over 20 master students in the areas of service design and innovation, automotive perceived quality and automotive sustainable materials and preference of high-tech technologies, design of future buildings, definition of luxury for Chinese.

Having worked in WMG-University of Warwick I was surrounded by automotive research wich I found challenging and worth trying. Therefore, In July 2017,  I switched my career and I trasferred my skills over to the auotomotive industry. I joined Jaguar Land Rover in 2017 and I felt in love with cars. I worked in Perceived Quality (PQ) of Surface Materials. My role was mainly to lead benchamrking analysis and customer studies using a variety of different participatory methods and tools to undersdtand customer requirements. The programme vehicles that I lead were Vellar 22MY, I-PACE 22  and 23MY, Discovery 23MY, XFL Work Stream in China. I did a number of  trainings in: leather production, plastic graining, yellow belt and green belt of 6 Sigma, Lean Processing, sustainable materials, lightweight materials. Following PQ, I worked in the Material Innovation Research Department that reports to Colour & Materials. I was leading two projects the Natural Fibre Composites and the Natural Wood Structural material. I was involved in doing research to write projects goals, objectives, stataments, to understand material development challenges and opportunites and business benefits. I developed processes to understand stakeholder requirements and to define better milestones and work that had to be done in each milestone. Also, I supported my deprtament with my connections from the academia and I initiated the development of a Polymer Research Centre between WMG-University of Warwick and Jaguar Land Rover.

In August 2019, I joined Geely Design Automotive in Coventry where I was promoted to Design Quality Specialist. My role was to lead interior design quality and to review design from concept to all dimentional development stages up to clay and physical model. I used mainly the Virtual Facilities for my reviews and created new tools and processes for design reviews. The reviews focused on flush, gaps, radii, symmetry, design language approach, easthetic appearance and customer perception. I also did reseasrch in design language themes to influence designers with new ideas. I created a process for attributes that Design Quality could bew responsible for. Additionaly, I identified the most curent state of the art databases for benchamrking and customer feedback. I was also partially involved in supporting Colour & Materials with innovative material research.
